When Kayley Drewitt, a professional dog walker from The Animal Ark Pet Services, set out for a walk in Ely Country Park, she expected the usual fresh air and wagging tails. What she didn’t expect was a mysterious cardboard box tucked into the grass.
Her curiosity got the best of her. As she and her canine companion approached, she noticed words written in black marker across the side of the box. The message was simple but powerful — and it stopped her in her tracks.
